Cornwall Partnership receives accolades from BT for their RiO deployment

BT staff working with Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust (CFT), which went live with RiO 5.3 on 2nd of August, have commented on how well the trust project team managed the cut over and transition from their old EHR system to RiO 5.3. So impressed were BT, that they have made other trusts aware of CFT good practice so that they can also benefit.

 

After a slow start to the project in 2009 due to lack of skilled resource, CFT engaged The Thinking People to bring change management and team building to the project.

 

After quickly identifying and engaging appropriate CFT staff, The Thinking People set about the transfer of knowledge necessary to make the project team and CFT self sufficient in project and change management skills. All of this whilst still working to achieve project gateways.

 

Now, with the successful deployment to 650+ staff from adult and specialist services, CFT can look forward to phase 2 for older adults and children’s services and to future RiO deployments with confidence. Confidence that they not only have all of the skills and resources necessary to deliver projects, but also the confidence that they are more in control of these projects.
