An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide comprehensive support for Information Governance initiatives within a trust in the north west. The successful candidate will join the Information Governance team, based within the IT Department. 

As an expert in the field, the IT Information Governance Analyst will be responsible for information governance advice to all levels of staff across the Trust, with an expert working knowledge and understanding of information governance including:- 

  • · Data Protection/Confidentiality 
  • · Information Security 
  • · Freedom of Information 
  • · Corporate Records Management 

The post holder is also required to have an understanding of other Governance initiatives and be able to assist  / manage the initiatives within the governance toolkit and monitor the Trust performance against targets and be able to develop / provide training where necessary.
